I commented on someone else thread about a seat swap, So rather then hijack that thread, here is my seat swap thread.. I wanted a ventilated seat like the Grand Cherokee Limited is offered. I live in Florida and I bought my 1st black truck since I was 17 yrs old.. So I bought a seat on ebay $325 shipped. The WK seat is very similiar to the JT seat frame.
I used my High Altitude cushions and leather.. The back was almost plug and play, I had to drill 1 hole to mount the air bag, that's it for the back. Super easy. The buttom was a little more difficult which I cut apart the 2 seat pans to created one (still need to do some fab work on the pan and weld it up).
the upholstery guy finished up his side a couple days ago (replaced middle insert with perforated leather) and I spend today working out the finishing touches to get buttom on.
Tomorrow I will run a 12ga power cable to the battery... currently have an xtra battery in the back seat for adjustments.. I order 2 switches for the blower motors and found a helpful threat for wiring, So with any luck maybe next weekend the blowers will work.. I have high hopes to get the seat control on the uconnect but for now switches will do
