I run mine in auto year around. Never a problem. It warms up pretty fast (after a mile or so it's getting warmer in there)
AC keeps up fine.
No matter the season, in auto it keeps the temperature I want.
I notice that the sensor in these can mean a difference if the sun is shining right on it
