Friday I installed the Clayton Offroad 2.5 Overland+ along with a buddy in his garage. Once the lift was installed and we were cleaning up came across this. Anybody know if it is someting off the Gladiator? Looked around but didn't see where it may have come from. Definately looks threaded
. Thanks.

It's weird I didn't see any thread protectors on any of the Clayton parts. Yet after pulling the Gladiator out of the garage there it was.

People Work?
I swear it looks familiar. Like a protector or a cap to go on a round tube to make it less dangerous. Tool box with round bar handles? Office chair? Stool?

It reminds me of a thread protector for those bed rack systems.

I guess I'll get back on the creeper and do a double check just to make sure. I thought it just looked like a thred protector but who knows...

I’m assuming it’s plastic?

Like Lunentucker said, my bet is it was something on your Clayton parts.
edit: I just saw it was your friend’s garage where you installed the lift. Might be his!

Yea, I've been talking with him as well. He checked his creeper and jack, checked all my stuff too. He is a bit of a neat freak, I can say for sure it was not there when we started.

Roger that, I just put it in my toolbox for safe keeping, I know if I toss it within a week I'll find out where it came from. I'll probally have it there till the day I die. ?

It looks a lot like the vent cap for a charcoal canister On the emissions system. I’ve replaced quite a few of them on Ford vans, not sure where its located on a Jeep
