Help with grill selection.

I know the golden rule of keeping the jeep grill but I'm looking for the change for a purpose. I haven't pulled the trigger on my new eco diesel yet as I want it to be able to become what I want prior to paying 52k. It seems as though the ecodiesel has some cooling issues which limits towing. I know changing a grill will not improve the rating but I'm hoping I can find a grill that allows more airflow as it will see towing duty close to it's max twice a year. I've found a functional heat extraction hood that fits the looks bill for what I want now to address the grill. Any ideas?

She will also be getting a 3.5 lift to clear the wheels on my truck but I'm thinking I'll be going back to a 33 and using stocks to tow.

It is engineered to run for hours on end at its max towing capacity with an outside air temp over 100.

There is no reason whatsoever to change anything if you will run below (even only slightly) capacity only 2 times per year. Or all year for that matter ...

But, if you want to use that as an excuse to get a new cooler looking hood than I like the one you have picked with the scoop ...

I do appreciate it. However I've seen a couple reviews that show pulling hills/Mountains it gets hot quick evEn under slightly under max. Granted I don't think the hood and grill would do much every little bit helps.

Where do you intend to trailer things with it? East coast or our west? Both? You mention doing this twice a year. What are you towing?
For my own knowledge. What do those wheels weigh? Curious about rotational mass and how it would impact towing performance. I know it would impact braking and a few other things.
I think you might be way better off towing with 33s.

I'd be going from ohio to the east coast. Towing a 263bhxl wildwood TT. Just under 5800 empty. I never fill the tanks and the propane tanks I'll put over the axles inside the trailer along with my spare to keep payload in check. The 24x14s with 35s are right at 120lbs* with the 33s I found I can get that down to about 108. Stocks would be much lighter which is likely what I would swap go towing.
