I ordered a 2021 gladiator sport S yesterday. When building it the sales mgr is telling me I have to order the Convenience Group (ADC) when I had ordered the Popular Equipment Package(AEH). While I understamd the build on the Jeep.com website cannot/does not keep up with changes, however it can be done there. I feel like he is forcing me to buy the Convenience Group where he may not understand His system or maybe it changed versus what is on Jeep.com. I don’t want to pay another $395

Second, I ordered the 8.4 head unit for $1995. I also want the alpine speakers Which were about $1245. The dealer is saying the alpine speakers are included in the 8.4 package? It Does not look that way to me. Advice?

For both of the radio /speakers and convenience group questions I tried to use the order guide(October revision) that is on this site, but it is confusing. Any advice from savvy order guide experts?

Finally, I also ordered the max tow. I chose the optional black fenders thinking That I don’t want to scratch through Sting Grey “PAINTED” fenders. I then see they are “molded in color”. I would rather have matching fenders if scratching paint off them was not a concern. Advice here?

thanks

looking at the most recent config sheets here (Oct 15 release) the AEH option automatically includes ADC, and ABR packages in that price, so you shouldn't have to pay for them as another option.

The build sheet for the Premium 8.4 Radio (AEK) does NOT include thje Alpine Premium sound (RC4) on the sport S models. But it does require the Technology Group (AAN), which is needed on ALL the Sport S builds). That is a little different from other trim models, The premium audio is included with the 8.4 radio upgrade, but not on the Sport S (at least according to the build sheets).

Also of note the premium alpine audio requries (JPY power windws and GXM keyless entry)

Hmm sounds like the dealer is no understanding that I don’t need the convenience group and that he needs to add the alpine speaker
