Hey, I was driving music was fine on my radio then the volume went up on its own and right after my sound sounds staticky like I blew my speaker or something but how come it’s to all of the speakers? All of them sound exactly the same, awful.

Anyone know how to fix it???

What level Gladiator and which "radio"?
I *think* there's a TSB (technical service bulletin) about volume changing "on its own", if I recall correctly.

The factory speakers suck on all level gladiators, literally super lightweight like paper. The fix is to change out the speakers and change out or add a compact sub. Roll bar to 6.5" or 6x9 kit, dash infinity. If sound quality is what you are referring to.

True - even the premium isn't all that premium, but he has that other radio issue I'm trying to find the bulletin on. There have been cases of the volume changing, and the fact his is doing it quite suddenly with all speakers indicated a non-speaker issue, IMO (although since they aren't the best, there will still be a speaker issue haha)

Rubicon with the better setup. I dont know what it’s called but it’s the premium setup.

The OP is not clear on some things. What year? Which Uconnect? Premium system? Is it under warranty?

Generally, there is not a "fix" that can be done at the consumer level. All is done at the dealer level as any diagnosis is by direct computer communications with Mopar starting with Starscan.

Have you switched the sound bar speakers to 6x9?

I went with JBL GTO629 6.5 sound bar with the conversion plates and they are great, well worth the 90 bucks. I did the upper dash with infinity and those are excellent as well. I am currently adding a 8" power amp and if I don't like it i'll change it out for a 10" cerwin vega.

Not the typical super upgrade, but kind of little by little to make this thing sound decent is all I'm looking for. I think Jeep went way too cheap on the sound.
