Well after waiting 2 1/2 months, our hood decals came in. I went with the reflective black and silver outline---the silver goes well on my Overland i think. We can't drive in our Dunes, but at least the Dune Trail Jeep is ready for the summer! Very easy to install---took about 30 minutes. A few bubbles, but they are already mostly gone.

Looks great! Can you share with us a lil about your removal technique? I'll probably be doing this soon as well, had generically planned on using a heat gun, razor blades, and rubbing alcohol.

Mine was blank to start (Overland--no decal) but heat, PLASTIC blade, and goof off or the ISO alcohol will do the trick.

I've replaced the graphics on the hoods of both of my JKUR's and my Gladiator. Removal is fairly easy...I literally left the vehicle in the sun for a few hours and then just peeled them off. I've heard of others using a heat gun or even a hair dryer to soften the decal and the glue but a good afternoon of sun does the trick. Then I just use a little Goo Gone to remove any residue.

We have that thing of living where we generally want things to cool down before we work on it. ?

NOOOOOO!!!! No razor blades. if anything, use a plastic scraper like you would use for drywall. Warmed up enough you should have no need for anything other than a fingernail

I used a blow dryer set to "Hot" -- heat them up and they peel right off. Be sure to mark off with tape where your existing stickers are so you can place them evenly.

WD40 will remove the goo and it's not bad at getting dried bug guts off the grill.

Lots of sun, Goo Gone, and a good thumbnail.
You might get lucky, and peel a whole letter at a time!

Whatever you do, make sure it is clean, and give it another afternoon of sun, before starting with the new stickers.

Thats my $0.02...it worked for me.
