Six weeks ago, my Gladiator was the victim of tow truck driver stupidity, and I still have zero ETA on when parts will be available for my body shop to fix them. At this point, I'm even considering aftermarket hoods, assuming they're high quality.

Enter, the problem: I have a Mojave...
  1. Does anyone know of any aftermarket hoods that specifically fit Mojave/392 hoods with the raised cowls?
  2. If nothing like #1 exists, is there a company that makes a nice hood AND the cowls to match?
  3. If #2 does exist, what all would the shop need to complete that replacement for me? The hood, obviously, the cowls, and I'm assuming there's more... Latch points? Washer fluid connections? Windshield channel (across the bottom)?

I would not settle for anything other than a new Mojave hood. Both for your satisfaction, and for resale value.
Oh of course, I'm not looking for a half-assed solution. I'm just not married to the big bulgy Mojave/392 hood whatsoever. For me, as long as it looks badass and is high quality, I'm not that picky.

I was even looking into what it would take to swap over to one of those DV8 Heat Extractor hoods. From what I can tell, it would be the entire cowl, both cowl end pieces, the plastic trim, and the hood itself. Basically everything I would need to go to a Rubicon or Sport hood.

Still though, so far insurance has the estimate up to $4300 for this (windshield header and fender flare damaged too), so if I can just buy something now vs. waiting months for a hood I'm not that big on to begin with, that sounds like a win for me.
