I have a passenger vent cover that is much "looser" than the others. I have googled and the only videos I can find is for the Wrangler with trim pieces. It appears to me that the dash panel will need to be removed.

Why would it be different?

I found out the video I originally watched had the incorrect model year. I found another one that shows that I need to remove the dash panel.

You need to remove the dash panel. Plenty of how-to vids on YT. I've done it. It is a bit of a PIA, but I am totally inept and was able to do it.
