Something I didn't really think about it for about the first 4 months but as summer got warmer and more passengers I started using the A/C more. I've noticed it's not...... great. It's certainly AC and will eventually cool the cabin but it's not crisp like you'd expect from most new vehicles.

Now, I thought the same thing you're probably thinking, "yeah but your top......." I know, I thought that too but it's not the issue. There's been days where I was hiking with a group of friends where we're hot but not really the outside air temp (high 70s lets say) and we're driving on the freeway and a friend pointed out "is your AC even on? I see the light" This was 15 minutes into driving. again you feel the cold air, just not that cold.

One time it seemed to kick into full gear, Same thing mentioned above but all of a sudden full on cold came out. very odd.

Doesn't matter whether I'm venting or recirculating or what vents i have selected.

How is yours? Does it feel lacking?

Another thing, unrelated, "Max A/C" turns OFF the A/C? WHY? (or doesn't turn it on when selected with A/C off prior) I don't remember past vehicles being this way.

Thanks

Check the discharge air temperature: it should be around 45°F when blowing full cold. If not, better take it to the dealer.
Mine will freeze you out, even with 100°F+ outside.

There's a known issue and TSB that works like a charm if that's what is going on with yours. Mine was hardly cooling at all while in auto mode. Sometimes a puff of warm humid air would come up from the floor when on a trip. I got the TSB done - took about 1/2 hour - and it works great now.
