So before I go ape on Jeep for another possible issue with my gladiator I though I would get everyone’s opinion. The temp has been dropping here in NE Ohio at night and coming home from a friends house the other night I turned my heat on. I didn’t have it on auto either. I like manual temp. I Set the temp to high to get it warm in the Jeep then turned it down to 75. I noticed after a few minutes it was blowing cold.
I was messing around with it after work today and i am finding between 60-80. There may be a slight temp difference. Like maybe 5 degrees. But mine is blowing cool air. It’s not Luke warm. If I was driving with the air off and turn it on at 75 it blows cold. If I go to high and then back down you can feel the temp drop and it will hold for a few minutes on Luke warm but then it goes cold again.
Does the manual climate work off the outside temp it’s sensing. Today was 85 and I am thinking it reacts similar to the auto temp. It senses high heat and cools things down. This doesn’t seem right for the manual temp.
im thinking of taking it into the dealer but I’m getting tired of it all.
