It makes me happy (but jealous) that so many of you are getting your Hydro JT's already even though I ordered on 9/11.

I am happy to report though, after 42 days in JB status, my Jeep has hit KZ...FINALLY.

Also, I found out YESTERDAY what the issue with my order was. I called "the vendor" directly as it had been there for 6 weeks. I found out from them that MY Jeep had been delivered to them "without the bulkhead plugs" and they were waiting to get those from the factory. The got them on November 5th (keep in mind my Jeep has been sitting there waiting for them since September 18th). Anyhow, the woman I spoke to at the vendor site (where they install the bedliner) told me that my Jeep was being worked on as we spoke and would be done within the hour. I just checked with Jeep chat this morning, and it's in KZ ready to ship. Here's hoping I see it next week!

Great to see yours is finally getting done!

I also ordered 9/11, and have had to watch while others have received their custom-order trucks (even the gobi and gator folk, who didn't order until several weeks after us)...Window sticker on mine says 10/07; it sat in the Toledo train yard for at least a week; It arrived at the Kansas City train yard 10/24, where it sat until it was loaded on the truck for the final ~100 miles to my local dealership on 11/05. I drove by the lot on the way to work & didn't see any blue Jeep trucks...I'm hoping for this week, but realistically, it will probably be next week, or the one after...

Here's hoping your wait is not further extended by the ridiculous shipping process...

Yeah, I don't get some of this stuff- I ordered on 10/17 and it just went to production. You ordered only 3 days earlier and it's already done?

I have to suspect a lot of this is due to the stuff Jeep doesn't do themselves. Ah, I miss the days when the factory did pretty much everything - unless it was a special edition and them, like in the late 60s, AMC sent the AMXs to Hurst for final fun stuff.

You would think with all the just-in-time processes and the technology and so on - it would be FASTER, not slower.
I mean - special ordered an 84 Eagle wagon in December 1983 - got the car in February. Yet today people are waiting LONGER for Jeeps. I can see with the Eagle - it was the first time in AMC history that they could not keep up with car orders and had to start running three shifts - full time all week every day production and couldn't keep up - THEY had an excuse.

So I have more than another month to wait - you ordered 9/11 and it's here today. I ordered 10/17.
Since I ordered a month and 6 days later, looks like I have about 5 weeks to wait yet. Bummer. With the holiday shutdown at the plant, normal slowdowns around holidays, I guess it might arrive by Christmas.

Added wrangler duratracs to my overland. I didn’t even hate the looks of the duelers but I needed better winter tires.

Nice. Since I've never seen an overland in person - not that I recall anyway, and never paid attention to the tires - the rest of these things are so sweet to look at anyway, I have no idea what the stock Overland tire looks like - like what my own blue Overland will come with.
In any case, yours looks fine, nice choice.

The stock Overland tires are 18" (Sport & Rubicons get 17"), and they look like they belong on a minivan...The Good Years are an excellent upgrade and DON'T look like they belong on a minivan!

To me it's not so much rim size - it's the profile, ratio, width, etc.
The 17" rims (and thus tires) on some of the SUVs around here look like something meant for pure smooth highway and I'd never put them on a Jeep.
I don't place much weight on the size of the rim so much as I do the tire profile and the width to height ratio.
