I doubt they're just making a bunch of Hydro Blue without any orders. It seems orders open up about a week before they starting spraying them.

I believe Punk'n started 4 days after.

Spoke to a sales guy, Brian, at Autonation Jeep in Golden, CO. Tried to blow smoke up my ass that Blue, Gator, and Gobi won't be available until next year. It's obvious he was hoping to steer me to another color.

NOPE. Told him that if that's the case, I won't be buying one until next year. It took real effort to not roll my eyes at the guy. The sales manager over there is actually pretty cool so I'm not throwing the entire dealership under the bus. Yet.

That's funny, I'm waiting for gator green, the salesman asked me what my next color option would be and I told him my second choice would be gator green, he laughed but didn't give me any made up crap, he has been a straight shooter so I am going to stick with him.

Exactly the reason I’m looking at Prestige Jeep in Longmont, CO or Faricy Boys Jeep in Colorado Springs. No BS. The guy at Prestige has been top notch thus far. Not surprisingly, he reads the forums too.

Saw this on Facebook from someone that works at the plant. Hmm someone was able to get one in blue.

I've seen about a dozen Gladiator Bodies of Punkin Orange coming down the finesse line last week and I also saw one Hydro Blue Pearl. The Punkin is real nice; but that Blue is sorta loud, weird and stand outish.

It could be a test run for the Hydro since they did that for the Punk’n a week before the order banks opened up. Fingers crossed for you guys! Seems like Jeep is catching up on the Gladiators ordered in April since I’m seeing a lot of those being completed within the past week. Maybe Jeep finally got a bundle of parts delivered and they are cranking out the previous orders. Mine included since I just went to D status last week and I placed my order on 7/19...

My local dealer also told me they'd know more about Hydro Blue availability on 08/15. We'll see if they were just blowing smoke, or if they know anything on Thursday. I'm going to order a Hydro Blue Sport S with 6-speed manual, dual tops, Alpine sound system & Tow package...

That’s a pretty specific date. Perhaps there is a dealer call with FCA scheduled for that day. Either way I hope he’s on the level. I’m not in any rush, but I’d like a little more certainty.
