How difficult was it to split the fender and add this bracket? It’s definitely intriguing

It wasn't bad. I used a razor blade to cut the tabs off. The plastic is pretty soft, so it cuts easily. Take your time splitting the flares to avoid any stress cracks (I didn't have any, the paint still looks perfect). I used a pair of tin snips to trim the factor front liners and reused them. I do still need to get rear liners. But I've often wheeled it with disconnected sway bars and no noticeable rubbing on a 2.5" leveling kit with 2" bump stop extensions and 37s. There are several YouTube videos outlining the process.

Awesome thanks for the insight. I’m running 33 and no lift, but my jeep is a little nose down for some reason. I’m just worried at full flex it may cause issues plus I like the light options better

Rubi fenders (front) top of fenders are raised up to be even with the hood line, and have a sever cut out for the hood latch, it appears you have Sport S (two piece)fenders on.

Look at the outer trim piece on this pic, that piece can be removed, the Sport model, the whole outer fender is one piece of plastic…hope this helps.
