Yep, sorry about that, a lot of folks coming into the area are driving the demand

Need to review my intended route. Looks like Gas is available in most locations but Diesel ( we will have two JTRD rigs) might be an issue.

Back to our group, our off road mentality is more the technical slow is good and slower is better vs Bashing our way through a challenge. We have 5 excellent spotters and the camaraderie we have developed the group works hand in hand to work through challenges. We Practice Tread lightly and understand the concept of stay the trail. We are not a rowdy drinking crowd and really enjoy the quiet of the back country.

Our rigs are built and very capable. We are not afraid to use winches to recover and or keep rigs from getting damaged.

Looking forward to meeting folks out west next year.

Finished up the suspension upgrade. Tore out the OEM short arm system and replaced it with an Artec long triangulated rear and long arm front. Next up the Trailer get a makeover. New suspension and new slide out kitchen.

Yup going to plan on towing an off-road trailer ( my design) on this trip. Might even get it up some of the planned trails (Thinking Mc Kelvey Lake). It will be a good base camp while we try some of the Must do trails of the area.

Planning to be at the boulder basin trail head the second week of July. if Idaho misses another winter we might bump that up a week or so.

I'll be on the rubicon and then coming back and catching the new Badge of Honor trail in Nevada... back to Montana on July 11th. So- depending on how your tril works out... I might not be in the area when you are passing through! From the 2nd to 11th we are doing our little route down through craters of the moon- then over to Tahoe- rubicon, and back...

@Sunnysideup Thinking either the 5th or the 12th depending on what ole man winter hold for Idaho this winter. Hope our paths cross looking forward to meeting you.

the new Badge of Honor trail in Nevada... .

High Rock Canyon? If so - we really enjoyed making a loop of it from Black Rock Playa, thru High Rock, return via “Little High Rock to Steven’s Camp Back Door” (that’s the trail name in OnX) and Calico Mountain Jeep Trail. The two return legs were just as good or better than High Rock itself. Open camping anywhere you like, pretty much
