Oh. You wanted an opinion
about the dealer service.

I got off track
when you said you got married.
Congratulations, Birdman.

But what do I know.
I've only been married to one woman
for 56 years.
Thanks Mad Mac. Its both of our second go around at 50 something years old I hope we know what we are doing. LOL 56 years to the same person is an outstanding statement for you both.

Centerforce makes a great clutch . The End .
To your knowledge does it help in the slipping in sand department that we where told caused the whole issue for it "overheating"? We don't run mud or play in the rocks any more both cost me a bit of money back in the day with the CJ.

I have an auto but recall plenty of stories on here about the clutch problems. You'll need to search, but I believe the dealer has no fix for the weak clutch issue. Believe all they do is a software update that really doesn't fix anything. Best fix is for you to install an aftermarket clutch that is suitable for the job.
They're actually replacing parts as part of the recall work. Only the initial recall (there's been about two or three at this point) only had a software update. You'd have to look at a TSB though, as I don't remember the extent of parts.
