Light Truck (LT) tires is one of the fastest growing tire market segments. In keeping up with ever changing Tire Industry Trends - I came across this excellent reference on Tire Companies, Brands, Ownership... Over the decades there have been many acquisitions and mergers in this industry, as well as others.
This wide ranging guide from August 2024 from TopTireReview stood out in both detail and scope. Much of this info is similar/also on other tire industry sites: https://toptirereview.com/who-owns-which-tire-brand-the-ultimate-guide/
The author is a tire industry professional, who worked at/for Continental Tire, and also at Continental Tire R&D Headquarters in Germany, as a mechanical engineer. I'm NOT affiliated with TTR site, or any tire manufacturer. Am a decades-long customer of many of these tire companies, and user of many of these product brands --- as a Jeep/truck/classic vehicle/trailer/equipment owner.
Beyond the overall tire industry overview, there is a tire review of possible interest re. the BFG AT TA KO3 vs. the Falken WildPeak AT4W, which replaces the Falken WildPeak AT3W that is OEM on many Gladiators and Wranglers. The AT4W has a higher mileage warranty, higher price, 3-ply sidewall, but is 7 pounds heavier than the older AT3. https://toptirereview.com/bfgoodrich-all-terrain-ta-ko3-vs-falken-wildpeak-at4w/
