Hoping someone can help. I'm seriously considering / trying to buy a new Gladiator. I have strong local incentives but the Jeep optioned the way I want is located about 2.5 hours away out of state with less incentive. I understand incentives generally (or always?) follow the zip code of the buyer, so that is fine. Problem is they are not showing an incentive that I think is available to me. I'm convinced the dealer is not trying to "take" the incentive - they just aren't seeing it. The incentive is a $750 cash allowance with code SECLA.
Bonus Cash (SECLA)$750
This program offers eligible consumers a Cash Allowance applied toward the retail purchase (Type Sale 1 or B) or lease (Type Sale L or E) of eligible vehicles. Residency restrictions may apply.
Valid: 8/4/2020 to 8/31/2020
Does anyone know whether that incentive might only be available if I buy locally, or how I can get the dealer to see and apply the incentive? Note I called Jeep using the "contact us" number on the jeep.com website and the person that answered the phone was completely clueless. She told me that the only Jeep vehicle she was seeing that had an incentive was "a Durango" and that she didn't see that Jeep sold any vehicle by the name of a Gladiator. And then the conversation got worse after that . . .
Thanks in advance for any help.
