Inconsistent Fuel Fill-Ups

Is anyone else experiencing inconsistent fuel fill ups? I was recently on my way home from a trip and stopped to fill-up, I set the nozzle on the lowest automatic setting and ran it until it shutoff I was then able to feather in an additional .25 gal. I finished my trip home which was approximately 100 miles. I decided to fill up when I was back in town. Again I set the nozzle on the lowest automatic setting and ran it until it shutoff. I tried to feather in some additional fuel and it kicked off immediately. It only took 3.4 gal., which I know it should have taken approximately another gal. My fuel gauge didn’t show completely full when I restarted and within 30 miles it was down an 8th of a tank.

This is happening on a regular basis and wanted to see if anyone else is experiencing the same.

I’ve experienced this several times, always on long trips. While driving through Houston recently I filled up in Baytown. I drove through north Houston and about 10 miles outside of the the Houston sprawl stopped for a quick coffee break and decided to top off. I was only able to get 3/4 gallon of fuel in. The Gladiator gets good mileage but not 60 mpg...

I have seen e few threads here and elsewhere about this...have not seen a definitive cause or fix yet. Here is one thread:

Seems like it is related to the evap/venting bits and pieces if I had to guess.
