You are absolutely right. I installed the front one only as I don’t think I have the need for side ones, for now at least. I installed v-rings instead.

Where did you get the v-rings? Did they attach to factory holes? Extra tie down options are nice and yours looks really good ?

Just got my Bed Rug to protect the beatiful bed of my new JT. Now I feel like I need to protect the beautiful new Bed Rug from my kids muddy sports gear :). Anyone put a cheapo rubber or plastic bed mat on top of the Bed Rug?

But then you have to protect the mat! Better rhino line it!
I know right, silly quandry. I really want the back to be like the inside of an SUV and keep it pretty clean.

I used epoxy on the spray in bedliner where the velcro attaches and the things stick fine. Closing the tailgate takes some force for a while. It matches the liner in my ARE cap. For the floor I got a piece of sanded and finished birch plywood from HD and added several tie down points. The side windows that open were really worth it on the ARE cap. On a 4 day dirt road trip in Anza Berrago almost no dust inside the cap.

If using a cap, a bit of fat window insulation trim around the tail gate area helps with the dust, and also with heating if camping in back in winter.

When using the full Bedrug liner, are the indents for 2x4 bed divider / plywood support still visible and usable?

Thank you. Have you padded the end (more than just a good sanding) to prevent an abrasion tear? I read the newer Bedrugs are not living up to the earlier quality on which their reputation was built, and one guy ripped his loading 2x4s just into the bed for transport, not wedging it into the indent and then applying downward force on top. Last week I got a Gladiator and this week bought a BedRug full liner, but had this question and wanted to find out before opening the box (I could always switch to a Bedrug Mat). Appreciate your help, thanks again.

I haven't used the 2x4 function yet.

Don't know if I mentioned it already in this thread, but the JT version is less padded than older one I have in my old pickup, from 20+ years ago. You can feel it when kneeling in the bed. It's still a major improvement over bare metal, though.
