If you're not happy with the swap you can turn around and sell them for what you paid. I say give it a go.
Different truck weights, different unspring weights, different spring numbers and rates all mean "your results may vary". They are so easy to swap, if you have the time and tools, there's not a lot to lose.

FWIW I had added the Rubicon Fox shocks when I did Rubicon front springs and max tow rear springs. I have since gone back to my stock Willys shocks and like the ride much better.
