I have asked the BulletPoint company this question
and they do not seem to know what I am talking about.

My understanding is that the RubiGrid
has to be completely removed
in order to add or relocate devices.

Go ahead. Insert jokes about optical scopes,
night vision lasers, grips, flashlights,
bipods, slings and so forth.

My interest is in making it as flexible as possible
and have the ability to remove accessories
that might attract an undesirable element.

In answer to my own question
an M-LOK compatible plate
is available from Z1 OffRoad
but not for the Gladiator.

And the RubiGrid...
close but no cigar.
RubiGrid vs Z1

This isn’t m-Lok, but we offer a track system that solves the problem you’re trying to solve.. with a single bolt that goes through the ball you can loosen a nut on the underside of the track too quickly. Remove the arm in the ball. You don’t have to worry about removing the top plate to reposition or adjust your device devices.

We’ve been burning through these the past few months. We had an unexpected stock outage, but they have more inventory here in a couple weeks.

We also have a mil spec 1913 add on if you want to go that route.
