Bulletpoint sent me a new holder because it was rattling over bumps. Hopefully this fixes the problem otherwise back to 67 Designs.
I have 2 of the 67 Designs spring-loaded holders and they developed the rattle over time as well. But only when a phone is in the holder.

Using a MagSafe holder now to wirelessly charge, so no longer an issue.

Are you drilling holes in the plastic dash to mount that to?
No drilling needed. You just have to lift the rubber cover off to access the threaded holes for mounting/securing the base.

I have the 67 Design for the older model but they also make it for the newer models. I like it as I move everything around to where I want it. I was also looking at replacing it with the Dash Bar but it doesn't look as a good on the 24 models as it does on the 23 and older models.

I'm thinking about doing that as well because almost all of my 67D developed a rattle over time so it's probably just the nature of the beast with the spring loaded ones. Sometimes adding a bit of WD40 inside helps for a bit. The Bulletpoint one developed the rate within a few days of getting it.

Not sure what year it started, but in my 2024 there are threaded holes on both sides from the factory now.
Thanks! If my lazy ass went outside and pulled the rubber cover up…I would’ve seen it. 🙄 😂

No hate on Bulletpoint. But, If you had a dash bar, you could mount it anywhere you want. You pretty much have the entire length of the dash. Again... Not hating on Bulletpoint though because that's what I have in my Ram. They have good products.

I got the bullet point mount for the driver’s side on my wife’s 24 JLU. I had to swap out my 4” arm for a 3” arm so it didn’t interfere with the steering wheel. It also helped with the bouncing around of the phone as the mount seems too flexible for my liking.

So I bought and made my own hybrid Bulletpoint mount. So my last 67D spring loaded phone rattled on certain bumps and I can't have that. I bought the BP two ball mount for my '24. The phone holder also rattled. They sent me a new one and it rattled too. So I sent it back to Amazon. I knew I had an older style 67D mount and tested it with no rattle. So what I did was bought the BP single ball and 4.7" arm and used my old 67D mount. No rattle. Doesn't interfere with steering wheel. Only blocks the Home button on my screen, but still easily accessible. The '24 screen is just too long.

I went with the glove box grab handle mount with an arm from Bulletpoint. Works perfect and doesn't block any vents.

I have this in my 2022. Ordered a 2025. Want to use the same phone holder/arm.
I was told that I could buy a single piece to use my existing phone mount/holder/arm in the new JT and not have to buy a whole new holder.
The 2024 and later have a threaded hole??

Hoping I can buy just the part that goes on/in the top of the dash and not the whole thing all over again.

We have both. On the driver side the phone (iPhone 14 Pro) sits nicely between the wheel and the screen. Neither the phone screen nor the jeep screen are blocked. We also use their magnetic holders. On the driver side it set the phone too high so we bought a small extension to drop the magnetic mount down (~2”s) so the phone does not block the view out the windshield. The only con is it takes a little finesse to work the windshield wiper post.
How well does the magnetic holder work? Off road tested by chance?
