The wire kit is very short for the ground. I instructions just say find a good ground. I'm aware that there are grounds on passenger side. What is an appropriate ground on the driver's side engine compartment?

Where are you mounting it? There's some good points on the firewall in the driver wheel-well. It's where I grounded my single ARB before switching to a dual and moving it.

At minimum, you'd have to sand off the paint here to get to bare metal. The coolant bracket only attaches via a rubber grommet on the bottom, so the ground would go through the pinch weld.

Just my opinion. I'd have no issues using this spot. It appears that the bolt goes directly into the sheet metal .

I'm mounting it under the brake booster.... that is where I had the old compressor . I did find some painted large metric bolts going into the frame around the engine compartment. I took one out, cleaned it up and used that one for the gound.
