OK , i am probably a dreamer... i want to build a 2 door Gladiator. Hence the J6, Jeep built a concept, i plan to make it my reality.
I was gifted a pile of parts
1. Complete 4 door frame and cut up body
2. complete 4 door body - uncut unpainted unprimed
3. Gladiator Hardtop - with Crack
4. Gladiator rear cab assembly
5. Doors Fenders Hood

I am putting myself on a schedule, i must have a paintable body by Mar 26 - i will turn 60 yrs old, if its not at that point i am scrapping it all.
the plan is to purchase a lightly wrecked 20-24 JL or JT at that time to switch all parts over to frame and body.

Hoping to keep up on this thread at least once a week.
Current Jeep 04 Rubicon w/ 255000 miles on it, just driven 2k miles round trip to Outer Banks
the Jeeps as i recieved.

Following!

Looking to do something similiar to this with my 21 JTRD, chop the rear part of the cab out and go single cab to have more room for a frame-mounted camper on the rear.

Can't wait to see how this is!

Started marking up, drilling out spot welds and cutting cab panel , lot of work but strength and safety are a concern, not to worried about a rear end hit but general safety first. I plan to overlap, and weave the sheet metal into the pillar assembly.

Interesting project, sad to read that you parted ways with the TJ. My 05 LJ is at the milage your TJ was. But, glad you found a solid replacement until you get the project built.

I've spoken to GR8TOPS already for my conversion idea. They're working on a JT kit right now to convert it into a two-door, they said "pretty close" when I talked to them in April.
