So I got this bumper off Amazon and was hoping to wire it into the factory harness and use the factory switch. The lights only have a positive and negative. The oem setup has 3 wires. 1 white/orange 1 white/yellow 1 black. They only come on for one second then switch off.

Does anyone know if its possible to use the factory wires or will I need to wire in a new accessory switch?

If you’re talking just the 2 bottom fog lights then it should wire directly up. Check the packaging to see the corresponding +/-. They should have it listed.

Check the backs of both sets of lights to see if it lists a wattage or amperage. They should be about the same or you’ll have more work to do. What it sounds like is you’re getting an initial surge and then it’s shutting down from an amperage issue.

Hey thank you very much for the response! Its looking like I'll be adding additional switches and running my own wires to the battery. I'm going to put 2 switches so the larger led bar is on its switch.

From what I've seen on the Gladiator Texas Trail, aftermarket bumpers often retain the original fog lights, but it really depends on the brackets and the type of bumper chosen.

the black should be the ground, the white with yellow stripe is the left positive, white with orange stripe is right positive

Man that's awesome, thank yall so much for all the responses. I think it was pulling to much power from the oem hookup after I daisy chained everything together. I put the 2 outside lights on the factory wires and it works just fine. I ran wires to a switch for the bar and the other 2. I will try to post some pictures when I get home. Next is the rear bumper.

Backs done. Hooked up the extra lights to the reverse.
