Another 'for Noobs' post from me, ya. I've been looking around to join a group or so of Jeep people or offroading people to get a bit more involved and have some fun opportunities with my Gladiator. The only thing is that almost all the sites I've looked into for groups near me are either super old and not longer relevant, or they are on FB. I know some of the groups are Wrangler diehards that don't want anything to do with us and I can try to avoid those pitfalls, but is showing up in a bone stock Gladiator frowned upon? I can't really help anyone because I don't have a winch nor am I experienced in any way. While I don't mind their personal views and if they sneer at me for not modding the living daylights out of my truck, I don't really want to be a drag and be "that guy" that kinda ruins people's fun either because now they're just dreading having to get me unstuck or explain all minutia to me.

With the above being said, does anyone have any tips for finding a group that isn't on facebook? I live in IN (hate it here) and have yet to find anything good online and I doubt I'm the only person struggling to find something. I know there are large events like the shooting beech down in FL and in others but with work (and especially the riots) I've not got a lot of time to leave long distances like that. Any helpful hints or points for anyone would be much appreciated!

Kind of in same boat, not sure what part of Indiana you’re from but I’ve heard kessies Jeep farm does a few things for beginners, I might check them out sometime soon

What's the issue with Facebook?

Funny, I have two friends from Indiana who recently moved here to Colorado Springs. They both say Indiana sucks.

I don't do social media (yes this is a form but it doesn't count). I hate it, toxic BS constantly and just gives away ALL of your info. I at least want to make people work for it, hahah.

Colorado Springs was nice when we visited about 5 years ago. Actually a place my wife and I might consider moving to in 3 or 4 years once the daughter is out of High School. Its nice here in Katy, TX but would like some different scenery after what will be close to 30 years here and the taxes just keep going higher and higher
