Probably the one thing I struggle with living here, the most "off roading" to do locally is to drive to the beach, which is fine and all and fun for the family, but I haven't even owned this thing for a week yet and I am already hunting around for anything I can throw at it. Drove over a curb at the store near me to take a back gravel path even though I don't have to, just because I could.

I dunno that I would want to live up in WV where my in-laws live, but I have to admit that I am pretty envious of the roads and trails they have up there in the mountains all over the place.
My in laws family is also from WV I can relate. Also im from Wisconsin so……
That being said, Sargent beach down to the mouth of the San Bernard yesterday. It’s definitely not a bunch of technical driving but it’s enjoyable and relaxing ?

Yup agreed, if you’re not into paying to play in mud on someone’s property or getting sand everywhere at the beach, then you’re kinda shit outta luck around here.

Ha, it’s funny you mention West Virginia because that’s where I lived before moving to Houston 4 years ago. That place has endless exploration options…I really miss it. That being said we’ll be leaving Houston about a year from now and I can’t wait. It’s an awesome place for city dwellers, but not so much for folks into the outdoors and exploring.

Don’t know where we’re heading yet though. Depends on where my girlfriend (soon to be fiancé ?) gets placed for her Psychology internship. Most likely back northeast somewhere, California, or Denver.
