What are the Pro’s and Con’s of signing up for the Jeep Wave program?

On the Jeep wave program you get 4 free oil changes and 4 tire balances and rotation of your tires you get to do this 2 times a year for 2 years then you get emails on any updates of the jeeps and I am sure there is other stuff I am forgetting

Do the oil changes and tire rotations expire? Curious for those that don’t put as many miles. Would rather do accelerated maintenance than let it expire.

Yeah, it is pretty much a automatic sign up. People can check on the Jeep website owners section once they create an account and login.

Just select "Menu" and a drop down will appear and just select "Jeep Wave" under the service and maintenance section and it will give your status and remaining service visits left.

I plan to do the first oil change at around 3,000 miles or in 6 months, which ever comes first.
After that, twice a year, unless the “change oil” warning comes on.

Same here - never got anything in the mail and picked it up last Tuesday evening. Nothing was said other than "you will get 4 free oil changes"

Yes - they expire after two years. My sales guy said do the oil changes and rotations needed or not - it's free. I'd have to go a year before I'd need an oil change. I agree, don't let them expire. I figure that you get that free service and the dealer gets paid by FCA for doing it so they win, too.

BUT - there's NO Wave info there. Just FAQs. No status, just explore wave, etc. so it must take a week or longer for anything to show up once you get your vehicle.

Q.What communications do new Jeep® Owners receive about the program?


A. For qualifying new vehicle purchases, owners receive membership material in the Jeep® Brand vehicle owner kit within 4-6 weeks of vehicle purchase. A membership card cut-out is included in membership material. Please note that membership cards are not required to redeem program benefits. Removable credit card stock membership cards are no longer included in membership material. Owners who have opted in for communication will receive a welcome email and other notifications related to membership.
