so, I hadn't been too active for a couple of weeks...

The Charger died.

It was a real major breakdown, I had to replace the Battery.
BUT it was enough that I threw a temper tantrum.
THAT damn Charger will never strand ME again...

The Charger got replaced with a 2020 Ford Explorer

WOW, I almost broke the bank today...

Ok so I got out there earlier and fixed mine. I searched all over to find the directions but I must have tossed them I swear it says put the side rails on then put the top on top of them. However evidently there is a part where it says tuck it under the side rails that I missed as well ( I'm joining the club ). But I took pics so hopefully it will make sense to others.

With the hump...

You can see here the top is on top of the rail..

I took out the 2 bolts holding the top to the side rail and loosened the bolts holding the rail to the roll bar. And Tucked the top behind it

No hump..

But I swear I didn't see this in the instructions.. It said mount the 2 side rails.. then put the top on top.

Maybe it was my two teenage sons that messed it up ..

Nope, you are correct about the instructions, I am having the same problem. You'd think Bestop would have their Sh*t together for a $700+ product.

LOL You crazy... I kinda liked your charger. The Ford Explorer is so meh boring! But again, I am sure you will buy a new car in 6 months hahaha

yup, aired up to 32, then dropped a pound at a time until it scrubbed evenly.

Went and got a rebalance today, one threw (or had one knocked loose) a weight. fixed a little 46-60mph wobble.

poor bastards full on triggered PTSD when they saw me pull up. Those damn 17" Armory/39" KM3 things are heavy...

AND I found a trackless carwash that I can get those 39x13.5s in (barely), so I gave ole Super-Duper a bath...

Hello John. I just received my light bar and brackets (Same as yours) and I thought I had a major problem. I also have the Mopar Snorkel and it is already installed. How did you attach the A pillar light bar bracket since there already is one for the Snorkel Mount?? I took it to the shop that is going to mount the light bar and he said he would try to figure out a way. He said he might be able to put the light bar bracket over the snorkel bracket and use longer bolts to attach. I would appreciate it if you could tell me what method you used! I have the exact same truck as you and I have numerous mods inspired from your build!!

I pulled the snorkel mount off the A-Pillar and slipped the lightbar mount under to mark where it would sit, then pulled it out, tapped a hole and put a small flush head screw thru from behind and padded the head with a little foam. best pics I can find right now.
