Sorry for crappy pics, but just got bumper back from powder and snapped off a couple pics.

Hoping to provide some details, install pics and impressions vs OEM in the coming month.

Yeah, still haven't installed mine yet since the weather in CO has been so cold and then on the warm weekends we get outside to play. It's still going on and I'll have a write-up to follow.

@EVO MFG

Finally got around to install and I'm super happy with the outcome! I've never owned an EVO MFG product before and I am very impressed with the fitment. The holes lined up perfectly and the body lines were uniform... no enlarging or elongating mounting holes with a grinder bit to make it fit.

Here's a couple stats:

1) OEM Steel Rubicon bumper with bed sliders/tow hooks/receiver = 125lb
2) EVO H&T w/ receiver = 67lb (raised the center of the hitch by 8")

I'll get some more pics as this was a late night and I didn't have a chance to touch up the white color bed panels (with black paint) that are now exposed.

OEM hitch height = 23" center from ground

EVO hitch height = 31" center from ground (+8" of additional clearance)

EVO H&T hitch reuses (4) OEM long bolts thru frame + (2) OEM short bolts at bottom of frame. Also included is a bracket for the trailer wiring harness and backup sensor plugs. The kit also comes with back up sensor brackets if you have OEM sensors (pictured below)

All parts included with EVO H&T bumper

Need just a little rattle can of black paint to cover the white color showing thru at the corners.

That looks great! I wonder how this one compares to the Relentless Fabrication high clearance bumper, which has an available tire carrier, and the ultra-expensive Artec high clearance bumper.

The Relentless Fab bumper has ben on the top of my list for a long time, but it didn't fit my application for a few reasons...

1) The optional tire swing carrier has no receiver provision for a bike rack. We use the Jeep mostly for MTB/camping trips and this is a deal breaker.

2) Yes, I could have purchased just the Relentless or Artec high clearance bumper portion with receiver, BUT I still wanted the tire swing from RiG'd and they specify that fitment requires 4" or less from the furthest point on the bumper (i.e. recovery points) to the center of the receiver hole. To be fair, I didn't called Relentless or Artec to verify this distance but from the pics on the website it appears that the recessed hitch pin location of both bumpers (due to license plate mounting) was greater than 4" and wouldn't fit the RiG'd Ultraswing. The Evo H&T has the receiver at a further out point in relation to the recovery hooks and you can still see how close the RiG'd Ultraswing "sucks up against" the recovery tabs ... nice and close.

3) Finally, weight and price played a big factor in my decision to go with the Evo H&T.
a. Evo High N Tight receiver bumper (67lb) + RiG'd Mega-Fit (79lb) = 146lb total ($945 bumper
+ $1,650 RiG'd)
b. Relentless Fabrication high clearance receiver bumper (120lb) + tire carrier (80lb) = 200lb total ($1,399 bumper only or $2,398 with Tire Carrier)
c. Artec High Clearance No Cut is $2,689 for the bumper alone... no weight given on website

Again, this combo works great for me and I get to take the RiG'd Ultraswing with me to the next build.

Has anyone tried towing anything with this?

Any ideas what is it estimated since they’re not certifying it?
I have not. The only info I could get out of a sales rep before buying it was that this bumper "has plenty of bracing"... read into it what you will.

thanks dude, kind of what I was looking for. I’m not towing a 30 ft boat, but maybe 4wheelers and gear in and out of the woods, and it seems like it would be fine for that.

I like how the before and after pics, on the after it exposed your rear RK links 😎
