Maybe its just me but sure does seem like Bestop is really hesitant to bring JL/JT items to market. JL has been out now going on 3+ years?

yep kind of how I feel. Really hoping they do the core doors kickstarter they were rumoring. My guess is they must be looking at overall size of the market vs getting new buyers. I really want something like a tube door, but it just seems too incontinent to me if it doesn't convert to something that is at least water resistant.

JCR has nice half doors- not tube, but still nice. Real hinges, great hardware, paintable, but about $1200 for a set

I really wanna see what these'd look like on a JT with no top of any kind. Wife won't let the kid ride in his seat in the back with the doors off... she said the Tube doors would give her enough comfort, but I'd prefer something like these over tubes, just to keep junk from flying out as bad. Plus they'd have that vintage look of a topless pickup.

What's the benefit of tube doors vs. going door-less? Sense of security? Aesthetics? State/local laws requiring doors?

I like them. Once everything is adjusted right there is no vibration.
