you may have to fabricate the mounts. Here’s a couple for a raptor, gives the general idea. Lots of discussion on this in trx/raptor land. The wrong design can shake apart your bed if doing high speed running.

Ah ok, yeah I saw that one but don't need doubles, cool setup though. I need to figure out my fridge situation next and look into how/where to put it.

Not sure it’ll fit a 34-35” tire for one. Much easier to get to being up topside should you get a flat and be on trail and in a position where it’s difficult to access.
Stock will fit up to a 37", smaller tires like the 34/35 fit with tons of room

As far as fit goes, I have a 37" tire mounted under my bed. Doesn't help the trail part, but it'll fit.

I have the DV8 option on order mostly because I got a good price. To this day when wheeling $12 of straps keep the 37” in place. stock spare location sucks for number of reasons when you go big. I don’t mind tossing it on the back for adventures or rotations. Around town I got AAA. If I was an overlander I think the bumper option may make sense but I don’t like were that puts the weight and seems it would kinda be a pita for how much I have the tailgate up and down also $$$.

What boxes are those? They're bolted down correct? Gives me an idea for a dual battery, thanks a ton
The side boxes are Swing Case by Rugged Ridge / Truck Hero. They mount on the sidewall not the floor and the little yellow handle lets them swing out to the tailgate for easy access. Obviously I cant swing them the way I use them haha.

Another option… why not go with the Clayton rear track bar? I believe it provides room for a 37” and is adjustable.

Cool trackbar, but I don't want to have it mounted underneath for reasons mentioned before and issues on the trail. In the interim I might, but will get it out from there ASAP.

If you are still on the forum, how big of a pain was it to drill and mount that carrier?
Super easy, I didn't take any measurements. I just placed the tire where I wanted it then placed the mounts and marked with a sharpie for the holes. I did the actual drilling with a step bit, and only made it as wide as the bolt. As for fastening, you can have someone hold the bolt from the top and jump underneath to thread the nut. This was a few years ago, so I can't say if the mounting hardware is still the same when you get yours.

I will add though that I went a different route eventually. Facebook find of a short bed slide, left enough room to stand the tire up behind it which is what I mostly kept it at. But it does fit laying down.

edit- 37"s pictured.
