Trailer brake controller is a 2x2 arrangement - not an inline. It's more like the top connector.

Yes and so far, I don't believe we recognize it - unless it's something to do with the bed outlet control switch (assuming you don't have a 110v bed outlet)
Being an X package, you likely do have the premium sound and so on, can't immediately determine what might be lacking in an X that would leave such a connector.

for the clutch pedal switch???
