Just venting, tired of waiting 4 months (delivery changed 5 times), still enjoying my 2012 JKR, but I would really like to take my new 2022 JT Willys (nicknamed Bruce) fly fishing sometime this CENTURY!!!

Stickered $54,500, Got it from gupton for 48,500 + 499 doc fee.

Just call Jeep Wave tell them last 8 of your VIN

Moved to D1 status and I have my sticker as of 3/8. Should arrive soon

Usually 3 weeks after it moves to D1 for it to show up at dealer if everything goes smoothly

Fully feel you. I had an order in for Ford that started the very first week of September in 2021. By February of 2022 when I was starting my 6th month of waiting, No letters and Ford customer service kept giving me different answers and the dealer was just as bad.

Everyone kept telling me to do a second order and take whichever came first….REALLY?

I cancelled the Ford order, moved on and ordered a Galdiator.

That Ford was built the beginning of December and then disappeared into a black hole with no one knowing what the status was. That was the worst part.

This experience has been good for me with my GLadiator (ordered in February), but know I am a recovering order breakdown human and know what you are going through.

I swear some vehicles ordered the end of 2021 or built the end of 2021 went into outer darkness.

Hmm, if that's true (I'm not saying it isn't) I'm guessing that the newly released Gobi would take a while to build up a big enough batch of them. I wonder if they would get to a certain threshold, say days worth of production, before they would start cranking them out. Hmm.

If I had to guess, I’d think that Jeep schedules an allocated run of so many of a color based on some formula of orders, allocation, and an estimate for to be sold orders that are projected to take place. This would ensure some type of balanced production schedule that would provide some fluidity while enabling them to continue to serve all build batches.
