I’m upgrading my Gladiator Rubicon to AEV Savagre wheels and 37s this week. Would the stock spare be ok in an emergency or should I order a fifth Wheel and tire. Of course the shop says get the fifth . If I can run the stock spare it would save me space and money. Thanks for any input!

*IF* you had to use the spare, you wouldn't want to go far or fast.

If your flat is on the front, you're going to have to change 2 tires. you don't want the odd size on the front.

I run 5 tire rotation, so I got fifth wheel and tire. Most on here say they don't want to be bothered with a five tire rotation.

If you need to run on the spare, DO NOT use the lockers.
For emergency use, you'll be fine. Think of it as one of the, "Space Saver," donuts.
