Heck, it's more useful and intelligent than arguing about the damn fob.Sorry to continue to stray off topic, but I find this fascinating ...
Sorry, I can't answer this, or THEY will drive my Tesla into a bus full of nuns and orphans.were you then a member and/or did they actively recruit you (or attempt to?)
I was not a member, I thought I was just getting a job from an ad. I didn't know anything about Scientology. Like Jt-wrx, they had special language that was subtle, and signaled membership to others, as well as validating how special they are. After seeing that for a while, it becomes super obvious. The anti-vaxxers, flat earthers, and various other nutters all do this. I guess the good part is that they stand out right away. There's one person like this who I follow on Reddit and her writing is always hilarious too (so much so there's a subreddit just to crosspost her crazy posts). People who don't understand tech and science are fine up until they start to pretend they do, and then let pure ignorance-based fear drive their opinions. If they actually understood the tech, they'd get why anyone who does laughs at the irrational fear. Like my chip implant. I did it, it's under my control, and can't be read from even an inch away, it mostly needs contact. So no, "they" can't track me with it.
So anyway, Scientology did want me to take their shit seriously, and I didn't. I just wanted to work. I mean, I learned more about them, and was interested in knowledge, but not their crap about "clearing" and having a planet or whatever it was. I think I lasted around a year when they pretty much made it clear that everyone who works there has to also be a cult member, and I left. Then they harassed me for a while because of course, you cannot ever leave.[/QUOTE]
