I have a MT with 35s and reversing up a hill absolutely sucks. It's way too tall of a gear to be useful.
Yep. I live in a mountain state. It can’t be for CAFE standards. Is it a space issue in the Aisin transmissions? I’ve rebuilt a few manual trans. That’s the only reason I can think of.

It's so you can get up enough speed in reverse to do a handbrake j-turn for the chicks.
