It just means having the truck sitting on a level surface.
And you put a leveling kit on your jeep? A different lift kit that may have it sit different than stock? Seams arbitrary for something that everyone throws around like a technical term/procedure.

A leveling kit will lift the front, but not enough to make a significant difference. A lift kit should give an equal lift on all four corners. Putting it on a lift or jack stands will keep it close enough to factory level. It's not that delicate and critical to really worry about.

Read some of the old threads on this. Had the hard shift, then eventually had worse issues and eventually got a warranty replacement on my transmission. I would take it to the dealer while you’re still under warranty.

You have a delay then hard shift. … Ive not experienced that in all 5 transmissions from the 21 and 23 JTR. I’ve not had delays but if the truck is on some sort of incline/decline and it’s parked with the vehicle weight on the park, engaging out of park would cause noise.
I have on my '20. Usually in the mornings

I’m surprised at your reply, …how would I say it,..less warranty rigid as we all know you to be. So either you’ve crossed the floor from the dark side or you’re baiting him into a trap. Insiders don’t usually sing one tune, then turn around and sing something else unless there’s something in it for you.

My comments were only to his question about it being level. He's already opened the transmission, without any research on the procedure. Since it's still in warranty, it should have gone to the dealer first.

All of this would be a non issue if they were not shafting us and removing the dip stick. Oil one is next and the hurricane does not have one.

Searching is problematic as it keeps listing to check the no existant dip stick. And then we have people like Mr Bill throwing out questionable answers. I do not like the idea of saying it should just go to the dealer. I should no as much as I can before I go in or it will be a waste of time. I dealt with an oil leak the dealer didn't touch under warranty until later got sick of adding and replace an oil pan seal. If I would have done the work to know the cause then it would have been fixed sooner.

Dealers are a crap shoot when you bring your ride in. And dealing with them even under warranty is a pain. One of the reasons I change my own oil. Don't need to worry about them over filling be use most pentastar engines take 6 quarts and the newer ones take 5.

This is also not including the shortage of knowledgeable mechanics and how hard it is to retain them at a dealership.

My wife's 2019 JL does the same thing. First shift of the day, wont do it again until the next day. The degenerates at the stealership said it normal. I did a oil drain and fill as well as changed the filter on the transmission. It kinda helped for a few months.
