My wife surprised me with this kit for Christmas, she purchased the right one as I already had the Mopar Aux switches. I'm in a Sport S (full pull).

My question is 2 parts.

1 - why in the world would they go and make the bezzle trim of the locker switches to match the Rubicon chrome trim when the only people who will be purchasing these switches will not be in Rubicon's (black bezzle)?

2- where can I find the replacement Rubicon chrome trim Mopar switches without purchasing the entire kit? I did check the Mopar site but it's not the easiest to navigate and I may have overlooked it.

ps. yes, I also asked for 40-inch tires but that was a no go.

Because both the Rubicon and Mojave have the red trim, not just the Rubicon. Obviously I'm not the designer here but to me red indicates a serious matter which lockers are to that degree. (Especially when they are now buttons.) It makes you pause for a moment making sure you press the right thing. Make extra sense here because you could get confused at a glance with eight buttons now.

So yes, between following Jeeps lead and lessening confusion makes perfect sense to me.

no no, I'm talking about the bezzle AROUND the red buttons. I agree that the buttons should be red.
