While trying to get the orange wire out of the TPA under the glovebox, I broke that orange wire and the grey one next to it with the connector inside.

the orange is x302 circuit D401, but no clue what the grey one is next to it.
I plug this back in and drive away... what won’t be working, and will I cause any more problems?

So we reconnected everything and the rear and front cameras stopped working, so not sure if that was the orange wire we were supposed to tie into, or the gray wire next to it.

also it seems the sway bar is not disconnecting...So perhaps the gray wire?

any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Cut, strip, connect. I used the amazon heat shrink tube with the soder material inside. Worked like a charm.

so you stripped the wire, but what did you connect the heat shrink with? Unfortunately the wire broke from the squarish female connector in the TPA. I guess get those out, find new female connectors, splice with heat shrink/soder?

where do you find those connectors... not sure what they are called.

and how the f*#k do you get those out? I tried Pushing with a small awl, but I think I messed it up hence when I tried to pull, it broke.

Ok, looking at things now, it seems the cameras are working, but off road + doesn’t seem to be working... or sway bar is not disconnecting.

i found the circuit in a JL wiring guide, it is the Lin Bus system. The D401 connects the switch bank 2 off road to the sensor -intelligent battery whatever that is..( does it mean both those buttons? The off road plus and sway bar?)
Now I need to figure out what the wire next to it is... I have no clue where that info is. I only knew the orange wire because the aux switches instructions has that in there.

is there a diagram of that can bus connector anywhere?

I used a punch, my smallest one to push the pins out. If that's what you're asking. As for the solder, buy these asap--> https://www.amazon.com/120PCS-Solde...ords=heat+shrink+solder&qid=1596497555&sr=8-3

Ok, update. Finally got the two pins out... uggg, pain. One is kind of broken, but think it may still work. I am leaving tomorrow, so don’t have time to get that solder/wrap connector... going to have to grab whatever they have at the local hardware store. Probably a crimp type.

in regards to the neighbor wire I cut, I think it is ESS related... because it doesn’t work now... (bonus!)

but I really want my sway bar disconnect before my trip, so hoping I can get this all buttoned up in the am.
