Let's just say if one was interested in swapping out the red rubicon dash for the LE leather looking dash panels, would these be order able for a non-LE owner?
Not even ready, just speculating.

My experience has been that you need to own any kind of special editions to be able to order any of the truly unique items.
I think you can customize your dash by getting it wrapped for less money than an LE dash would likely cost from a dealer.

I second @AggieJeep here - You would be better off having an aftermarket leather place wrap it for you. This is actually a pretty common request at any Upholstery place. I have done this on my gf's car... Also, if you have the time and can work with leather it is not that hard actually and will save you a lot of $$ cuz typically Upholstery places charge $2500-$3000 for a job like this in my experience.

In 2013 Jeep built the Rubicon 10th Anniversary Addition JK that was a one year run. The next year Jeep built the Rubicon X, same as the 10th Anniversary except no red leather seats or special emblems. Then the X name was changed to Hard Rock but the same Jeep. People paid top dollar for Rubicon 10th Anniversary Addition, and the X and Hard Rock tainted the special addition appeal and value. I am guessing that Jeep will do the same to the JT LE, that leather dash with red stitching will be available in some form of special addition Rubicon JT and JL in future models and readily available if you want to pay the Do-Rae-Me.

I would guess it's not going to be the material cost...the labor on this swap will be steep if you don't do it yourself.

Same dash is available in the Overland already, just without the red stitching. So if you didn't care about the stitching, you could order the overland parts and put them in, no worry about having to own a special edition to order them.

Since mine is a rubicon, and everything else has the red stitching, may as well go with the LE version. The LE dash was the only thing I wanted that came with the LE, when I ordered my JTR I got about everything else that came on the LE. Watched the youtube video on swapping out the dashes and not quite ready for this undertaking, my jeep is less than a week old.
Not trying to clone one, just what I preferred, in case anyone is going to ask. haha
