Hello Team,

I got a really good deal on a set of LED Fender Lights, but realized they are the wrong wiring setup for my JT ('21 Max-tow Sport S). It came with the 5 wires on the lights and the JT has the 6 pin connector? Is there a way to modify these to work? Maybe a diagram of what to color to connect with what if possible? I was looking at various threads and cant seem to find the right answer. Close, but not exactly what I need? Please help. TIA.

Had similar issue when installed aftermarket LEDs. I did trial and error test using factory connected / wires until it worked the way I wanted.

Takes a little time, but doable.

Cool. Thanks. I was hoping to avoid that route, but me the way I go...

Yep. I tried contacting Morimoto (manufacturer). They told me not to splice into any wire. After two weeks of waiting for a reply. lol! Was a great help! lol. … what a joke.

Ended up figuring it out the hard way. Everything worked out. Not as bad as I thought it would be. Obviously, trial and error on one side - other side is easy :).

good luck!

Any chance you took a pic of the harness/area spliced after hooked up and connected? Extra negative wire for turn signal just doubled up to main negative or grounded out separately elsewhere? I think I'm overthinking and should just start cutting and testing...

Sorry no. However, rather than cutting, I would suggest using t-taps. Cleaner / easier to clean up with some electrical tape if / when needed.

Yeah, really no way other than diving in and testing to be sure. Not as bad as I thought it was gonna be … you got this!

… Not really sure what it’s called … but electrical tester tool could also be another route if you decide not t-tap.
