Just kind of thinking with my fingertips. I have been looking at the Wrangler 4xe. I like the power and a few more MPG’s wouldn’t hurt either. I just keep on reminding myself that if I get rid of the pick-up, I will regret it. The bed comes in too handy too often. I came from a 2017 Tacoma and had many Tacomas all the way back to my first new car being an ’86 Toyota pick-up. Now that Toyota has announced the ‘24 Tacoma coming with the iForce Max hybrid and Ford has announced the Ranger Raptor and GM with whatever they are going to fail at, I think Jeep has to step up and let us know what the plan is under the hood for the Gladiator. The only options they have are the Hurricane and the 4xE to keep up with the competition. I am seriously thinking about heading to the Toyota dealership and plopping down a deposit on a ’24 TRD Pro because I don’t want to wait around for Jeep if they are just going to disappoint us. Factory 35’s and a bigger infotainment screen are not going to cut it. The “can’t take the top and doors off“ doesn’t fly with me. I love it but it’s not a deal breaker since I live in sh!t climate Michigan.

Come on Stellantis, if you are listening, just let us know already! I will order a HV yellow 4xE Mojave as soon as the order banks open if it is available.

I wouldn't expect a Mojave 4xe for the same reasons they didn't make a Mojave diesel.

Batteries don't like extreme temperatures, and while Desert Rated is a made-up term, Jeep does want it to mean something

I’m really hoping they bring out a 4xe Gladiator, but I suspect they won’t. They must be scrambling trying to make it work. Heat and heat dissipation are the sticking points. They had to do a lot of tricky engineering to get the current model to behave. It’s why we don’t have a 2.0 Gladiator.

The Gladiator has the advantage of having a lot more room to shove batteries in. So range should increase, even with more mass.

So my local dealership in Virginia Beach has some 2024 Wranglers on the lot (not for sale yet). I really wanted to what the new grill looked like since they changed it. I had my doubts but wanted to give it a chance. I must say, I really don’t like the new changes they did to the grill. Maybe it will grow on me, but it just doesn’t seem to fit. The grill is noticeably narrower and they added this funky vertical slotted design under the headlights that really just looks out of place. @JeepCares, I think you got the grill wrong with this new update.
