I’m really hoping they bring out a 4xe Gladiator, but I suspect they won’t. They must be scrambling trying to make it work. Heat and heat dissipation are the sticking points. They had to do a lot of tricky engineering to get the current model to behave. It’s why we don’t have a 2.0 Gladiator...
I hope so, but then FCA has been talking up the BHEV powertrain on the wrangler for a few years, and now it's suspiciously quiet when the 2020 model year is approaching. BHEV haves some really compelling feature sets for the JL/JT.
Not sure what the hate on with the EPA is; are any of you old enough to remember the days prior to mandated exhaust output and fuel economy limits? If not, take a tour of China to see what air pollution looks like.

It's likely a CYA. All the electrics are sealed, etc. But they also hang under a vehicle that's likely to get banged up, and maybe a seal here or there damaged. 30" still isn't anything to sneeze at, IMHO.
I’m running a lifted, modded 2016 Cherokee TrailHawk. It’s fun taking it out on the trails and showing the Wranglers up/that the “car” is able to run technical trails well.
