After running into scheduling issues with DIYing the lift instaall I've brought it into the local shop. Front half is done, and OMG WHAT HAVE I DONE. The droop is astounding. Before and after are attached.

The problem is, the tech says, at full droop, even with the new drive shaft, the transfer case skidplate contacts the drive shaft. Has anyone else running this, or the Game Changer lift, encountered the same issue? Tech has removed the skid plate for now. Obviously, I don't want to keep it removed when crawling.

That’s a big gain! That is how MetalCloak designed their springs though. To keep positive downward pressure on the axle to increase contact between tire and ground.

I’m surprised the shop didn’t just ask you if you wanted them to do some grinding on your skids while it was all up in the air. Not sure but I believe I see Asfir glimmer under there? Should be an easy fix to get it cycling properly.

Nope it’s all stock. Or was all stock. Now it’s got a lift with crazy droop. I’m thinking I’ll need to look for brake line extensions for the front, and maybe ABS extensions for all four corners.

If those are stock plates chop em up so everything works. You’ll change em out eventually anyway. Now that you have that droop you’ll be out there running over mountains and stuff.

Yeah. I’m considering seeing how bad it is once off the lift and then grinding as needed. The long term plan is get a full body skid system.
