Ah, right DoW = Department of "war". I forgot about that madness down there.
Shame. I guess I need to find something compatible with the system for new add-ons.
EDIT: phone got charged :D
I was looking at a new iPad mount, as the one I have won’t fit my replacement iPad in Toothgnasher.
To my surprise they’ve exited the retail market, unless you’re an existing client (yes) and American (no). Their site is still up, as is social media, but has a banner across the top and on the...
I’m likely stupid for jumping in on topic, but 67 Designs have pulled out of the consumer market.
Unless you’ve ordered from them before, and are in the US, you can’t get 67 Designs hardware now.
Huh. Found a supplier for the 1 gallon jugs of EDT. I’ve only been finding the winter stuff, as Canada already adds anti gelling agents in the winter, I didn’t think the winter stuff was needed.
I’ve been running EDT and thinking of switching to Opt-lube XPD. How does everyone measure the .25 - .5oz and dispense into your tank?
EDT has the nice pipetting bottle that lets me put 1-2oz a fill in.
Snow wheeling yesterday. I needed a tug before we reached the trailhead, after swerving to miss a snowmobile that came wide around a blind corner.
Most of the day was spent on the trail recovering a willys Wrangler, then a nitro Rubicon Gladiator who got stuck trying to pull the wrangler out, a...
They did a few things right - they didn't wheel alone, the Bronco had some recovery gear - winch, collapsable shove, and traction pads (not boards). The Wrangler, however, those tires were down to "no" tread. It was also leaking oil, and I told the owner to get it looked at ASAP.
Thanks, there were a couple of times when the 3.0L really showed it's stuff, and having the heaviest rig works well when anchoring for winching.
This was the deepest snow I've ever been in with stock tires, and they handled it really well. I'm back to debating running 35" pizza cutters (and...
Responded Sunday to a Wrangler and Bronco that got stuck in deep snow on one of the year-round trails Saturday. Both drivers walked out of the trail and got home safely Saturday night.
Rolled out of the house at 08:45 and got off the trail at 16:00 and back in the front door at 18:00 or so. We...
Put the order in for my @Metalcloak 3.5” True Dual rate lift via a local supplier. Then used my $250 credit with MC to get LCA skids, spring sleeves and upgraded bump stops.
Shortly after placing the order, I received a call from Metal Cloak thanking me for my order and providing shipping...
Everyone’s thoughts on the plastic fenders mirror mine, or have. I’ve clipped mine on the JT and my JL and the worse cost was a few clips.
I do like the looks of these, especially if they provide a little more up travel.
With Jeep Performance Parts releasing the Steel fenders, does anyone know if there's a Gladiator model? I know the front fenders will fit, but buying the kit to only use half of it seems foolish.
If you haven't seen them, they look pretty damn good and use the factory (LED) signal lamps and...
