I was looking at a new iPad mount, as the one I have won’t fit my replacement iPad in Toothgnasher.

To my surprise they’ve exited the retail market, unless you’re an existing client (yes) and American (no). Their site is still up, as is social media, but has a banner across the top and on the order pages.

To my understanding, they are going to be focusing on product development and doing sales to other storefronts. I guess they do development and production and farm the individual sales out to others. Makes sense really. Cheaper to send a bulk order to a company than sending 100 orders to 100 people.

Charge your phone, dammit!

The banner seems pretty clear, they are not interested in individual private sales and are focusing on defense contracts and probably law enforcement and fire/ems or aviation companies/agencies. A few guys with Jeeps are more hassle than they are worth.

 my first thought too!

I've got one of their OG phone mounts in my JK. The original plastic phone clamp broke a few years ago so I contacted them and they sent an updated aluminum replacement at a steep discount.

Bulletpoint mounting offers similar products if that is an option for you?

Ah, right DoW = Department of "war". I forgot about that madness down there.

Shame. I guess I need to find something compatible with the system for new add-ons.

EDIT: phone got charged :D

I am not a fan of the marketing around Bulletpoint, but I don't want to get into politics. I may need to find out if there are Canadian alternatives.

Yeah, the "DoW" thing threw me for a second - especially since only Congress can change the name of the DoD, they are essentially "Department of Defense, doing business as 'Department of War"" (Or "DoD DBA DoW")

DOD was originally DOW until 1949. Then it was changed to DOD. But anyways. I bet 67 Designs shifted their customer basis due to companies like Bulletpoint. selling essentially the same thing for half the price because its made in China.

I just installed a Bullet Point, and I don't have any complaints about it aside from their silly logo being etched into the metal.

Decided to go check their website - everything is sold out. That's not promising either.

I just use CarPlay and my 17 Pro fits perfectly in the “key holder” slot between the cup holders.

This is for a new iPad for overland navigation; the old one is old, and the 67D holder will no longer hold the replacement.

End of January I ordered a couple of arms, mounts and some new support posts. All items were in stock and shipped at the same speed as the first batch of stuff I ordered a year ago. Maybe just a problem with their website? (Software guys 🙄) You could try reaching out to them and ask what is going on.

I would contact them. Seems you can still buy from them.
