Get a slip. No need to tow. Saves a lot of time also. Boat ramps near me look a mess on the weekends

I tow a 21ft SeaHunt Ultra. Loaded with fuel and gear its right under 5000lbs. It is surge brakes and about 11ft tall on the trailer. Just towed out to Morehead City and back to Winston which is like 240miles each way. It will do it, but the gladiator doesn’t really like towing IMO. I ran about 65mph to keep the oil temps under 250. It did get about 15mpg round trip, which is damn good… well if diesel wasn’t $5.60.

Here's the boat I WILL be towing eventually. COVID, the quarantine and the fact that my girlfriend's mother is in hospice care in our house have kept us from using it since the time I sold the Denali.

But I'm certain the Gladiator will tow it fine. Not only based on the boats all you guys are towing but on the fact that I just got back from an 1100 mile tow of a 6400 lb, 16 foot enclosed trailer from Seattle to Atascadero, CA.

Pics of the boat and it's two prior tow vehicles below. Both of them easily towed the boat of course. It'll be a little more work for the Jeep but should be fine for the 4-5 times a summer I'll do it.

2022 SeaDoo Sport Compact and trailer are under 3k. High Altitude with tow package and tire upgraded to 33in BFG KO2 helped with the slick ramps. SeaDoo is 13ft and 170 hp of awesome island hopping fun!
