So I'm breaking down and planning out a couple upgrades to my Max Tow. I drive 25k miles a year and hate the stock tires winter performance so this spring/summer I'll be upgrading and figure while I'm spending money, I may as well try to do everything in a single shot.
Use is 95% DD and that's 85% highway for work commute.
I'm looking into 33"-35" tires and wanting to level a touch while leaving a bit of the factory rake for when I have stuff in the bed.

My considerations right now are (in order of pricing):
1) Spacers for a 1.5" front / .75" rear. (TF / Daystar)
2) Readylift SST 2.5 kit (which is 2.5" front / 2" rear)
3) Rancho 1.5" leveling kit for front with the 9000 series shocks (front and I'll replace the rear at the same time) + .75" daystar rear spacer.

Any advice or firsthand experiences with options 2 & 3?

I put on the Daystar 1.5” front spacer with the .75” rear spacer and Rubicon Fox take off shocks. The front was still a little low for me so I added a pair of heavier front springs from a LE, they raised it another inch. I also added the front lower control arms from the Mopar 2” lift to add back some caster, you can buy them new for around $120. I put Toyo A/T III 285/75/17 tires on stock wheels, they are 34” tall, I am pleased with the results and it is still a good daily driver and tows my boats well.

I ordered 3/4 for the rear and the daystar 1.5 for the front. The daystar spacers have been on backorder for 2 months now. I've gotten several notifications that they will ship out on a specific date and then nope, they go back on backorder. My Max Tow is a 2021 and I put the 35's on without the lift and it's fine. As far as offroad, I've only had it on the beach and didn't disconnect. No rubbing.

Right now it seems that if I were to go with the Rancho + Rear Spacer it's gonna be about 1150 out the door. If I just do the daystar it'll be 515 out the door (including an alignment check which admittedly the truck does need as I don't 100% trust the dealerships I've taken it to).
The question is if the rancho solution is worth 600+ bucks.

I get steering shimmy so it would be worth it to me to get a second look at things.

Have your tires rebalanced, alignment issues generally will not cause a shimmy.
